Michael Stonebreaker was a member of the 1988 National Championship team. He was elected first team All American in '88 and was a finalist for the Butkus Award as the top linebacker in the country. He possessed an outstanding combination of speed and strength. Michael was a natural player with a great nose for the football and was excellent in pass coverage situations. Ranked as the number one linebacker in the nation by the Sporting News in 1990, who dubbed him a "Jack Lambert clone." |
